A gorgeous metallic whoosh starts off Pure Efficiency before muffled drum and bass come in. Staying within just a few notes of the scale, the “melody” in Pure Efficiency lives up to its name. It’s mostly about the rhythm, which is brisk and catchy. Great for intros, marvellous for suspenseful film transitions.
